What is the activity?
The competition invites students to design their own unique crêpe, explain their choice of ingredients, and describe it in French for a chance to win an interactive French workshop with La Petite Crêperie. They can unleash their creativity by designing their own unique crêpe, tell its story, and dive into the world of French language and food.
Students should take part because this competition offers a unique chance to learn and practice French in a fun, creative way while designing their dream crêpe. It’s a memorable opportunity to boost their language skills, express themselves, and potentially win an immersive French workshop with La Petite Crêperie! They will gain hands-on French language skills, a deeper understanding of French culture, and the confidence to use a new language in a real-world setting.
Participating schools who register will receive the La Petite Crêperie resource pack, including vocabulary sheets, a crêpe design template, and guidance on basic French phrases to support students in creating and describing their crêpes.
Schools are expected to introduce the competition to students, provide the resource pack materials and encourage students to design their unique crêpes with descriptions. The school will collect and submit student entries to La Petite Crêperie up to 6th March for judging.
