Running from Tuesday 6 January to Friday 31 March 2026, all our Festival activities are completely FREE and registrations are now open. Tens of thousands of places have already been booked for our inspiring live in-person and online events, classroom activities, creative multilingual projects, competitions and careers events.
Choose from a vibrant mix of creative multilingual projects and classroom activities with teaching resources available up to the end of March, Festival competitions and live in-person and online events (many with recordings).
These activities are designed to empower young learners 3-11 years old, help them to express themselves through languages and learn about diverse cultures.

Get involved in our exciting programme for secondary pupils. Choose from a range of languages and career events, Festival competitions, online and on campus university language experiences, as well as live events where pupils can express themselves through music and poetry. There are also creative multilingual projects and classroom activities with teaching resources available for three months.
These activities are all FREE and designed to enrich the curriculum, spark curiosity, celebrate cultural diversity and help young people 11- 18 years old discover the global opportunities that await them.
