Thank you to Emma and Marian and the puppets Felix and Franzi for a fantastic introduction to German for primary pupils today. This was the first of two live sessions with the Goethe Institut for primary schools in the North East and across the UK. The next session is at 9.30-10-.30am on Friday 7th March on Teams.
Pupils learn how to greet each other, sing greetings songs in German and learn basic German words through this interactive session. There are also links to more resources that schools can access to support German language learning in classrooms across the UK, including German clubs, song videos, lessons and teacher guides, as well as more videos for dancing and support from Goethe Institut to run German lessons in schools.
