Being exposed to different languages and cultures at an early age is important for young learners and can help inspire them to learn and find out more about the world and the people around them. There are a range of short, fun, interactive activities this year as part of the Festival for children as young as 3 years old.
Register now to access language and culture taster sessions in Ukrainian, Arabic, French, Spanish, German and Japanese. You will be sent a link and be able to access these pre-recorded sessions anytime in March. Click on the activities below to find out more and get involved.
There are also fun activities and resources that you can access anytime – from an interactive booklet of Lara’s Language Journey across Europe, to songs and stories in French. Click on the images below to access these anytime.
National cultural institutions also provide a wide range of resources for people interested in language and culture. The Institut français, Spanish Embassy and Goethe Institut have a wide range of films, books, comics, games and activities for children and families, which are free to access.
