Becoming a European Parliament Ambassador School – Webinar for teachers at 3.30-4.30pm on 29th January 2026
A short introduction for teachers on how your secondary school or college can gain free accreditation and access to resources, activities and trips from the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK and link up with a network of over 2,200 schools and colleges across the EU and UK.
By participating in the Festival of Languages you will already be part way to gaining EPAS accreditation. Join the webinar to find out how and what else is needed.

Who is it for?
- Teachers at UK secondary schools and colleges.
- The European Parliament Ambassador Schools programme (EPAS) is free for all schools and colleges in the UK and the EU.
When will it happen?
- The webinar will be held at 3.30-4.30pm on 29th January 2026
- It will be hosted on Microsoft Teams by the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK
- A recording will be made available after the event for schools who are unable to attend live, but registration is still required.
What is the activity?
This 1-hour webinar will explain the opportunities available to schools through the European Parliament Ambassador Schools programme (EPAS).
EPAS is an annual programme of accreditation open to all secondary schools and colleges in the UK and the EU. The UK programme is run by the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK.
It enables students to learn more about European parliamentary democracy, organise and take part in practical activities related to the EU, and engage with their community and Members of the European Parliament.
It is free for your school or college to take part in this programme.
In this online session for teachers, representatives from the European Parliamentary Office in the UK will introduce EPAS in more detail, share the opportunities it offers to your students, explain the criteria for accreditation and how your participation in the Festival of Languages will mean you will already be well on your way to becoming an accredited school.
